Kathleen “Kat” Cooper joined Windrose Health Network in 2019 as Director of Human Resources.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management (OLS) with a minor in Human Resources from Purdue University in 1989. Kat has experience in the healthcare field where she has served as Corporate Human Resources Director at Indiana Masonic Home from 2009 to 2017 and Corporate Human Resources Director for Hamilton Center, Inc., from 2005 to 2008. She is proficient in Federal/State laws, including FMLA, Wage and Hour, and Equal Opportunity Laws. She has been the legal liaison for employee-based EEOC and civil cases. Kat has received several certifications, including Psychological First Aid Trainer from FEMA and Member of Task Force 5 Emergency Management.
Kat is a member of NOW and FEMA. She also enjoys scuba diving and has a dog-walking business. Kat lives in the Indianapolis area with her husband.
